Volunteers

Are you looking for a place to become an involved volunteer?  We have over 450 volunteers and are always looking for more.  Indian Creek is a home where you can help a little or a lot.  We have a full-time, year round Activity Director that welcomes new help and new ideas.  Perhaps you would enjoy working in the activity office for a few hours, help out in the Library, Host a dinner dance, help at the blood pressure clinic, teach a class, or help with hot dog or hamburger day.  Maybe you would prefer joining our Relay for Life event, the Scholarship Committee or our Defibrillation Program.  There is always a place for everyone. 

Our sewing groups make Teddy Bears for children, Burden Bears and Quilts for Hospice patients, and Quilts of Valor for wounded soldiers, Snuggle Blankets for the Animal Shelter, Walker Totes for physical therapy patients, and Book Bags for mothers with small children.  Many of our residents volunteer at Healthpark Hospital which is located just a few miles from Indian Creek.  Indian Creek Residents never stop giving.  They are definitely, “The Heart of our Community”.
