Take a trip to Ontario and savor the tranquil beauty of Lake Avenue RV Resort! At our family-friendly getaway, you’ll find fun while you fish or go boating on shimmering East Lake. In addition to watersports at the campground, you’ll find plenty of activities in the area, including a classical music festival and antique show hosted by the community in September.

Prince Edward County Music Festival

Classical music devotees will love attending the Prince Edward County Music Festival, a major community event running from September 15-24 in the quaint village of Picton. Now celebrating its 14th season, the festival’s focus is on western classical chamber music that features the finest Canadian musicians.

While admission is charged for most of the concerts, a free performance by the Hannaford Street Silver Band will be held on September 16 at Macaulay Heritage Park. Though not required, donations are always appreciated and serve to support the local arts scene.

Antique Fall Show

From September 15-17, the Crystal Palace Fairgrounds will serve as the venue for the Antique Fall Show. This regional show will have dealers specializing in furniture, glassware, collectibles, textiles, toys and pottery.

Antique shows are enjoyable to explore and can serve as a great spot for finding unique and handcrafted items. Shop for your home or RV and become a trendsetter as you take what’s old and make it new!

Lake Avenue RV Resort

Less than 20 minutes south of the action in Picton is Lake Avenue RV Resort, nestled in the lush forests of Ontario. This wonderful family vacation destination offers a variety of opportunities for outdoor recreation. Swim in the sparkling waters of East Lake or stroll along 800 feet of secluded shoreline as anglers patiently pursue the area’s famous walleye.

A paradise for kids awaits at our expansive playground, and be sure to sign up for a wagon ride! The fall colors make for a beautiful backdrop as you meander through the forest. Once you’ve finished, you can return to your site for a night of s’mores, laughter, and fellowship around the campfire.

No RV? No problem! At Lake Avenue, you can take your pick of tent sites, cottages, RV rentals, and pop-up trailers. With plenty of options, there’s always a way to stay.

Though you may find your days filled with activities at our resort, you can also explore the area. Try a concert or movie at The Regent Theatre, or take a day for the adults and tour one of the numerous local wineries. The fun never stops in Prince Edward County, plan your trip today!
