Fall In Love With Monomoy Island

Enjoy a premier guest experience at Campers Haven! Located in the mid-Cape region of Cape Cod, this RV resort is a rewarding summer getaway that’s perfect for enjoying water sports. In the surrounding area, interesting attractions like Monomoy Island offer adventure and exploration.

Birdwatchers and nature lovers will adore visiting the Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge, an untamed stretch of tidal pools, ocean expanse, dunes and sandbars. You’ll revel in the raw, yet beautiful scenery while you fish or walk along the beach. Expect birdwatching galore, as the island is a migratory nesting habitat for seabirds, shorebirds and waterbirds.

Take the Monomoy Island Ferry cruise and see the seals that make their abode outside of  the harbor. The captain provides a fun, entertaining tour that imparts information on area history, while providing an opportunity to spot several lighthouses along the excursion route.

Wildflower Garden Tours

Situated in a quiet corner of Cape Cod, the Green Briar Nature Center offers informal guided tours through its award-winning wildflower garden every Tuesday morning. The one-hour tour is just $5 and offers a peek at a living museum of wildflowers. More than 300 plants grow in the one-third acre garden, making it a lovely, vibrant area to explore. You can find this peaceful sanctuary at 6 Discovery Hill Road in East Sandwich, Massachusetts.

Campers Haven RV Resort

New England is a truly enchanting place for a vacation, and Campers Haven RV Resort is the best place to experience it. An on-site store and snack bar offers plenty of convenience, while our family-friendly grounds include a game room, playground and on-site miniature golf course.

We’re proud to be the only resort that offers its own private swimming beach on the Nantucket Sound. Our guests can explore the pristine waters by boat from our private small vessel boating area.

While you spend time on the Cape, remember to explore the local attractions. Try taking the Island Queen ferry to Martha’s Vineyard, or hike along the Pilgrim Spring Trail, an easy walk that is full of historical markers. For beautiful snapshots, take a sunset trip to Highland Light, Cape Cod’s oldest lighthouse!
