What can you expect at the event? For starters, seafood. And lots of it. Shrimp is just the tip of the iceberg. You’ll also find crab cakes, jambalaya, conch fritters, and Cajun cuisine. Complementing it is a wide array of live music with two stages. And you can walk off the food by perusing the arts and crafts booths of regional vendors. 4. Oyster Cook Off
On November 6-7, 2020, the annual Oyster Cook-Off comes to The Hangout in Gulf Shores. More than 100,000 oysters are served every year, along with an astounding selection of BBQ. In addition to the food, the Oyster Cook-Off is known for craft beer and spirits. Small brewers and distillers come from far and wide to offer tastings of their libations.
