The Greater Toronto area is bustling with activity, but sometimes you need a break from the action, right? Just 75 kilometers southwest, you’ll find Gulliver’s Lake RV Resort & Campground, our seasonal destination between Hamilton and Cambridge, Ontario. As a seasonal guest, you can enjoy a relaxing getaway whenever the mood strikes at your special vacation spot at Gulliver’s Lake.
The unique seasonal sites here allow you to park your RV, so you can come and go as you please. That means it’s easier than ever to get away any time without the hassle of packing. And during those times away, you can relax next to a 14-acre lake with a sandy beach. Keep on reading to discover more about our amazing lakeside resort!
Ways to Stay
Gulliver’s Lake offers seasonal RV sites and park models. Rather than packing the RV for every trip, you can keep your rig set up while you take care of business away from the resort. This option makes it easy to enjoy extended vacations throughout spring, summer, and fall.
Each RV site includes full hookups and many sites also feature small grassy areas, so you have an outdoor space. And since our guests are seasonal, it’s easy to enjoy a community atmosphere where you know those around you. Trust us, you’ll soon be on a first-name basis with your neighbors!
The center of activity is, of course, Gulliver’s Lake, our resorts namesake. Fed by artesian wells, this 14-acre aquatic retreat is very popular on warm summer days. Kids love to strike out and swim to the floating dock, while adults can rent kayaks and paddleboats to explore the sparkling waters.
In addition to the lake, you’ll find many more amenities for an exciting stay:
- Kids playground
- Sandy beach
- Volleyball courts
- Planned activities
- Picnic pavilion
- And much more!
Gulliver’s Lake RV Resort is nestled between Cambridge and Hamilton, with easy access to Toronto. Just 14 kilometers west of the resort is African Lion Safari, where you can drive through a world of wildlife that includes lions, baboons, giraffes, and rhinos. It’s an incredible adventure for kids!
Closer to Hamilton, you can explore the outdoors at Tew and Webster Falls. Both popular attractions often require reservations, but offer outstanding hiking trails with waterfall views. You might also want to visit Dundurn Castle, a neoclassical mansion, then take a walk through the floral English landscapes of the Royal Botanical Gardens.
Head to Hamilton for more family-friendly fun at Wild Waterworks, a sprawling waterpark along Lake Ontario. Or visit Toronto to stroll through Old Toronto and hang out on Centre Island. If a day trip is what you seek, head 93 kilometers east to Niagara Falls to see these famous cascading waters for yourself!
