To start, visit Bastendorff Beach, a famous shore with many picnic spots. Then head just a few miles south to Cape Arago State Park. This renowned sunset spot is also ideal for whale watching and seal spotting.

Away from the ocean, many more scenic spots await. You can head to Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area, where the forest meets the ocean at massive sand dunes. With an off-road vehicle, like a dune buggy, you can tackle the towering dunes.
