Tent Sites

There’s nothing quite like pitching a tent out in the great outdoors, and for camping purists, tent camping is the only way to go. But you don’t have to rough it if you don’t want to. We offer a great selection of primitive tent sites, or you can choose to have a site with extra features like water and electric service. Most sites come with a picnic table, fire ring and our Sun WiFi service.

Hookup your Tent Site (or not)

Electric and Water
These campsites offer electricity and water only, which give your RV a source of power and a supply of clean water. Electric and water hookups are ideal for pop-up campers and small travel trailers.

No Hookups
These site types are usually referred to as “dry” or primitive campsites and give avid outdoor lovers truly back in touch with nature. But you’ll never be that far away from modern conveniences! Bathhouses with hot showers and water spigots are always nearby.

Be Our Guest

Long-Term Stays
Our seasonal locations offer a more traditional camping experience and refers to guests that typically keep their RV on-site, or have a vacation home, for the entire season, which includes spring, summer, and fall camping.
Year-round resorts are located in the south, southeast, and western regions. Long-term stays at these parks typically range from six months to a full year.

Short-Term Stays
The short-term camper generally refers to guests who stay less than a month and applies to people on vacation for two weeks or less at our seasonal RV resorts and campgrounds. Guests staying less than six months at our year-round locations would also be considered short-term.

Pets are Welcome
We understand that a getaway is not the same unless you can bring the whole family, so pet friendly accommodations are available at most of our locations. Enjoy the convenience of pet friendly amenities available at a selection of locations that offer pet-friendly walking paths, fenced-in dog parks with some that include agility courses, and pet washing stations. Bags and receptacles are also strategically placed to help keep the grounds clean for the comfort and consideration of all guests.

Some breed restrictions apply, so make sure you contact the resort office before your arrival.

Resort Conveniences
At Sun RV Resorts, we believe in the next level of camping and RVing with a host of standard conveniences that set our parks a step above the rest. Here are just a few of the services we offer to our guests:

  • Hot showers anyone? Our bathhouses are clean, convenient, and always close by. And after a few sticky (or stinky) days and nights, this is an amenity that all campers really come to appreciate. Showers are coin-operated at select locations, so make sure to check in with your campground of choice before your arrival.
  • Water, water, everywhere! If you’re staying on a campsite without any hookups, fresh water is available to guests at designated spigots located within close proximity of these camping areas.
  • Laundry facilities offer an easy solution to clean your clothes right on-site during your stay with us. Washers and dryers are generally coin-operated and many facilities include folding tables.
  • Convenience stores are available at many of our parks and carry an array of items from RV equipment to groceries, ice and propane. Many stores also include apparel and gift items as well, so you can take a memento as a keepsake of your time with us!
  • Many of our locations offer snack bars for a quick bite or a sweet treat. We also have a number of parks that have on-site restaurants with full menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
